Since my father took me to the track as a toddler, I have been involved with cars. I love being around cars; the smell and the noise.
I have competed in the SA Rally Championship for nearly 30 years. We were Class Champions from 1991 to 1994, finishing second overall in the SA National Rally Championship in 1993 and 1994 behind Serge Damseaux. In 1997 we won the SA Formula 2 Championship and once again finished 2nd Overall in the SA National Rally Championship. We also competed in the FIA African Championship in 2000.
Life outside Exoticar is spent being a mom of 2 great children, teaching them to be the best they can be and to reach for their dreams, no matter how strange or unusual they may seem. I love keeping fit and love hiking. Reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro in February 2005 made me realize that you can really achieve anything.
I am blessed that I am able to work with my passion and hope to be able to continue to do so for a very long time to come. |
Since childhood I've had a soft spot for classic vehicles. I learnt from a very early age how to restore and preserve vehicles and from there my passion grew. That is the main reason why I turned my hobby into a fulltime career. I've done several advanced driving courses and occasionally do precision driving on film sets.
Through my involvement with the Peugeot Club of South Africa I have visited numerous classic motor shows all over the world.
